Dr. Markus Hoffermann Markus Hoffermann, born in 1982 in Schwaz, Austria, finished his training in Neurosurgery at the Medical University of Graz in 2014 after graduating at the Medical University of Innsbruck in 2007. Already in the early stages of his residency, he developed a particular interest in the field of neurooncological surgery and has since then cultivated his skills in multimodal imaging-based neuronavigation, intraoperative MRI, fluorescence-guided surgery, intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring and awake tumor surgery.
In 2013 and 2014, Dr. Hoffermann served as a clinical scholar at the Department for Neurological Surgery of the UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco and as a research fellow at the Weill Cornell Microneurosurgery Skull Base Lab in New York.
